We Give Back

Free Dental Care For Veterans!

“In the aftermath, we are because they were” (RJ Heller).  Each year, Americans honor the brave men and women who proudly served our country on Veterans Day. This year, Nolan & Freund Dental Professionals went above and beyond honoring and remembering and put admiration into action.
Through social media, Nolan & Freund Dental was able to make contact with deserving veterans who needed dental treatment. The treatment administered ranged from preventative care and restorative fillings, totaling in cost of about $6,000, which was delivered from the heart and without expectation of payment. Nolan & Freund Dental proudly treated two brave veterans and would love to treat many more at future Veterans Day events. Beginning now and continuing throughout the year, Nolan & Freund Dental Professionals will be compiling a list of interested veterans to receive free dental treatment during the next anticipated Veterans Day event in 2019.
If you are a military veteran or know a military veteran in need of dental care, please contact Nolan & Freund Dental Professionals at 847-724-6222 or info@nolanfreund.com for further information on future Veterans Day events. –Written by Melissa Wagner

Dr. Mike in Mexico on a Dental Mission Trip with El Nino Rey

“The mission of El Nino Rey is to save the children of Quechultenango, Mexico from indigence, to break the cycle of poverty through education, and create a faith-filled group of young leaders who will in turn share their gifts and educational blessings with their communities.”–Every year Dr. Mike travels to Quechultenango, Mexico on a Dental Mission Trip with El Nino Rey of Northbrook.  Each year during his week there the team of providers treat over 200 patients who would otherwise go untreated.  They do everything from cleanings and exams, to fillings and extractions.  As you can see in the above video, they do all of this work for free in a make-shift dental clinic.  Dr. Mike always makes alot of little friends while he is down there and the families are always happy to see him when he returns!  To learn more about El Nino Rey you can visit www.elninorey.org .

Dr. Chad, Kelly and Claudia Volunteering at Dental Access Days

We create fully functional 8 chair 2 day clinics, staffed by local area professionals, using mobile equipment in a temporary setting.”–Dr. Chad, Kelly and Claudia volunteered at Dental Access Days in Evanston.  There they were able to help to diagnose and treat over 130 patients which provided almost $100,000 worth of free dental treatment!  If you would like to volunteer or learn more about Dental access days you can visit www.dentalaccessdays.org .
